Swan’s Road privacy policy
Effective 31 October 2026
The short version
Swan’s Road does not collect your data. It has no account system, no analytics, no advertising and no server of its own. What the app remembers, it keeps on your device.
What stays on your device
- Your finished games, win and loss statistics, campaign and puzzle progress, and your rating against the computer.
- Your settings: the board look, sounds, haptics, and the last handicap and board you chose.
Deleting the app deletes all of it. Settings has a button to reset puzzle progress on its own.
Online play, leaderboards and achievements
Online matches, the daily game’s leaderboard, and achievements use Apple’s Game Center. When you use them, Apple stores the moves of a match, your scores and your achievement progress on its servers, and shows other players your Game Center display name. Apple’s handling of that data is covered by Apple’s privacy policy, not by Swan’s Road. You can play without ever signing in to Game Center; only online play, leaderboards and achievements need it.
Play nearby
Play nearby connects two devices in the same room directly, over Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth. Each device sees the other’s device name while the game lasts. Nothing passes through any server.
Purchases
Swan’s Road Complete and the single looks are one-time purchases made through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and records what you own; the app only asks Apple whether a purchase exists. No payment details ever reach Swan’s Road.
Children
Swan’s Road is rated 4+. It collects nothing from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date. The app itself will not start collecting data without an update that says so.
